Join a small group of photographers and document Freshkills Park’s transformation from landfill to 2,200-acre park. This guided tour is an opportunity to see and photograph the unique engineered landscape while the site is closed to the public. Whimsical Winter: William T. Davis Trail Stewardship

Join the Freshkills Park Alliance and NYC Parks for a stewardship volunteer project at FKO + Studio Gallery. This volunteer project will assist in making Freshkills Park trails more accessible by maintaining trails, gardens, structures and removing invasive plant species.

Location: We will meet at the FKO + Studio and Gallery located at 2252 Richmond Ave.

Freshkills Park New Springville Greenway Bicycle Ride

Join Freshkills Park on this beautiful bike trail! This will be a fun, leisurely ride on the New Springville Greenway. Absolutely everybody is welcome! There is no wrong way to participate as long as you’re out on a bike! (Bring your own bicycle/helmet)

The course will include blacktop, gravel, and hardpack surfaces.

Bike Race: The Great Gobbler
