Whimsical Winter: Winter Outdoor Skills Adventure for Kids
Join the Freshkills Park Alliance for this winter outdoor skills adventure for kids program. This hands-on, engaging workshop will demonstrate the practical skills you will need to learn how to create a warm shelter outside, stay healthy and safe through good winter clothing selection and layering practices, and exploring best protocols for making and managing a safe fire at our FKO + Studio Gallery. Ages 10+
Please dress appropriately for outdoor winter conditions.
Location: We will meet at the FKO + Studio and Gallery located at 2252 Richmond Ave. Staten Island, NY 10314.
Parking is available in our parking lot at the corner of Draper Place and Travis Ave. adjacent to our FKO Building.
