Donors and Sponsors
A warm thank you to the supporters and sponsors that help the Alliance continue our important work as an advocate for this huge landfill to park transformation project. The funding helps the Alliance change perceptions about this former landfill, bring people to the park and disseminate information about new ecological habitats and wildlife returning to this area.
The New York State Department of State, Office of Coastal, Local Government & Community Sustainability has provided funding to support the Freshkills Park project under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund.
