We will lay mulch around our native plants, which helps to insulate the soil, conserve water, and prevent invasive weeds from returning.

...MOREAs a part of the High Line’s Insectageddon, join artist Ash Ferlito for an all-ages evening of mothing and cyanotypes, a time-based photography, at the Freshkills Park Studio + Gallery. Through a process of attracting, studying, and capturing the image of insects to create a visual record, participants will learn about the many moths that call Staten Island home as well as how to explore and capture the likeness of moths on their own!
