Staten Island bike tour of community gardens
Artist Tattfoo Tan will lead bike tour of Staten Island community gardens this Saturday, July 24th, hitting Castleton Hill Moravian Church community garden and the Joe Holzka Community Garden. Attendees are encouraged to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water.
The tour was developed and commissioned in part by The Laundromat Project‘s Create Change Public Artist Residency Program and is just one of many food and urban gardening-related projects in Tattfoo’s current body of work. His blog is full of reflections and documentation of other fun undertakings.
