Upcycling Winter Decorations Workshop
Join the Freshkills Park Alliance and NYC Parks Department for an all-ages upcycling winter decoration workshop at our Studio + Gallery on December 18th.
Decorations that end up in a landfill, never to biodegrade isn’t jolly or merry. Did you know you can bypass the waste and enjoy the holidays through upcycling? Join us for an upcycling workshop, while we learn how make our own wrapping paper, repurpose scraps of wrapping paper, make crafts from foraged materials, and about the different ecology that get more attention this time of year, like reindeer, polar bears, poinsettias, and more! In the meantime check out these Festive zero-waste activities to try at home.
