If you are interested in joining the Freshkills Park Alliance Charity team, please fill out the application and take note of the conditions below.
We are looking for runners who are excited to run for Freshkills Park and represent the Alliance and our mission. Each participant is required to raise a minimum of $3,600 for the Alliance and pay their race entry fee. Runners for the Freshkills Park Alliance will receive guaranteed entry to the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, a Freshkills Park Alliance shirt, and support to help with their fundraising goal. The TCS New York City Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 1st.
If you have questions about the race or joining our charity team, please email serickson@freshkillspark.org. We will notify applicants of their acceptance on a rolling basis until out entries have been filled.
The Freshkills Park Alliance is a proud recipient of the Diamond Matching Grant Program, an initiative of The Staten Island Foundation. Through this program, the Staten Island Foundation will match eligible donations on a 2:1 basis, tripling your impact! The Diamond Matching Grant Program is ongoing until June, 2026.
