New Springville Greenway Bicycle Ride
Join Freshkills Park in celebrating International Ride A Mountain Bike Day on the New Springville Greenway. (Bring your own bicycle/helmet)
Join Freshkills Park on a day to celebrate mountain bicycles and riding! This will be a fun, leisurely ride on the New Springville Greenway and the Greenbelt’s Multipurpose Trail. Absolutely everybody is welcome! There is no wrong way to participate as long as you’re out on a bike!
The route will include the New Springville Greenway 3 miles and the Greenbelt’s multipurpose trail which is 2.6 miles. The course will include blacktop, gravel, and hardpack surfaces. Helmets and your own person bicycle are required for riding with us on this program, as Freshkills Park is unable to provide these items at this time. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
We will begin and end at the Freshkills Park Office parking lot located at 2240 Richmond Ave. Staten Island, NY 10314.
