Jane’s Walk: Hike at Freshkills Park
Hike at Freshkills Park as part of Jane’s Walk, a movement of free, citizen-led walking tours inspired by urbanist and activist Jane Jacobs. The walks get people to tell stories about their communities, explore their cities, and connect with neighbours.
The group will meet at Schmul Playground (at the corner Wild Avenue and Melvin Avenue) and shuttle into Freshkills Park from there.
