Shannon Erickson

Shannon Erickson is the Director of Education for the Freshkills Park Alliance. Shannon helps lead educational programs to teach people about Freshkills Park and its incredible transformation. She enjoys getting people connected with nature and learning about the importance of being a good environmental steward. Shannon earned her Master of Public Administration with a focus in environmental policy and administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University. Previously, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in environmental science with a concentration in ecosystems from Binghamton University, SUNY.
