Bonnie Nygard

Bonnie Nygard is our volunteer management and recruitment AmeriCorps member. They work with our K-12 education programming and will help us develop our Education Docent program at Freshkills Park. Bonnie is a Staten Island native and is excited to learn more about stewardship and local environmental action. Before their year of service, Bonnie graduated from Kenyon College majoring in Environmental Studies and Religious Studies. After their time at Freshkills, they hope to continue working in environmental education and stewardship.
