Solar car charging station
Chargepoint is a network of electric vehicle charging stations that have been installed cities across the US and Canada. If that wasn’t a timely and smart enough sounding business venture, Carbon Day Automotive recently installed a Solar Powered Chargepoint station in Chicago. Brilliant. We think it would be great to install a series of these at Freshkills Park–for Staten Islanders with electric cars, of course, but also maybe to allow electric Zipcars to shuttle between the park and the ferry terminal?
