Honoring Betsy Dubovsky

Freshkills Park Alliance joins the chorus of Staten Island organizations in honoring Betsy Dubovsky, President of the Staten Island Foundation.  Her legacy of leadership, characterized by empathy, strength, and a dedication to all the people of this community, is felt everywhere.  All the organizations supported by the Foundation and by Betsy’s commitment to the range of community needs and issues is a testament to both her breadth of care and the rich tapestry of this place.  We are so grateful for her service and its lasting meaning for us all.

We send our deepest sympathy to Betsy’s family, and to the staff of the Foundation – Laura Jean Watters and Marie Payne.
